Risa Hokamura, violin

Talk about an overachiever, at just 22 years old Risa Hokamura is on the short-list of the world’s great violinists. She picked up the instrument at the age of 3 and by 10, Hokamura was already capturing top prizes at competitions in her native Japan. In 2018, she earned international attention by winning First Prize in the Young Concert Artists International Auditions at the age of 17. She’s since toured the world performing recitals and as a soloist with orchestras. We can’t wait to see her talent in the intimate Squitieri Studio Theatre.
