Explore interdisciplinary creativity, collaboration, and innovation this summer with the Recovery through the Arts Convening on Friday, August 2 at Malachowsky Hall. There will be multiple panel discussions by UF faculty on diverse research topics including Afrofuturism, AI and Emerging Technologies, Artists as Second Responders, Creative Practices and Walking, Public Art and Health, and Recovery in Community. UF alum Dr. Julian C. Chambliss, Professor of English and the Val Berryman Curator of History at Michigan State University will give the keynote address on Afrofuturism.
