Join us to swap stories about artist Jerry Uelsmann (1934–2022). Hear from his students and colleagues about his one-of-a-kind personality, working method and penchant for jokes. Even if you didn’t know Jerry personally, this forum will add a sparkling dimension to the photography on view in the commemorative exhibition Jerry Uelsmann: A Celebration of His Life and Art. This much-needed forum amongst his friends and acquaintances will honor the man behind the visionary and the seeker behind the camera. Following the conversation please join us for music of Jerry’s favorite band, the Peyton Brothers, at Swamp Head Brewery, 10 minutes away at 3650 SW 42nd Ave, Gainesville.
