Join the Bob Graham Center for Public Service on Thursday, October 15 at 5:30 PM in the Pugh Hall Ocora for a conversation about the past, present and future of the First Amendment.
Janet Coats, Managing Director of the Consortium on Trust in Media and a career journalist who has spent more than 25 years navigating seismic changes in the way Americans create, consume and share information. Janet will be joined by Kevin Goldberg, Vice President/First Amendment Expert at Freedom Forum and a leading national voice on First Amendment rights.
Together, they will explore how longstanding principles of first amendment freedoms are being tested and interpreted in today’s increasingly complex media and political environment.
Come for a thoughtful conversation about one of the foundational principles of American democracy and leave with a deeper understanding of what the First Amendment means for you in the world we live in today.
