Report of the Presidential Task Force on African American and Native American History at UF

Please join the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program in Smathers A. Libraries East, Room 100 January 17 at 5:00pm for the 2nd event in the 2023 Challenging Racism public program series.
Created by President Kent Fuchs in 2020, the Presidential Task Force Task Force on African and Native American History at the University of Florida was composed of UF faculty, students, staff, administrators, and alumni who were asked to study the history of the University of Florida and its antecedents from 1853 to present. Members of the task force will present their findings and engage in a dialogue about what happens next. Audience members will receive free copies of the task force report.
