Our Gulf, Our Future: Unlocking Climate Tech Innovation

February 27 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

How can climate technology help us adapt to the growing risks of a warming planet? Join Dr. Galen Treuer from the ClimateReady Tech Hub to hear how public-private partnerships are unlocking new technology that transforms our ability to respond to a changing Gulf region.

Climate tech companies are developing and selling innovations that help our economy adapt to the growing risks of climate change while also reducing the emissions that drive it. Dr. Galen Treuer, Miami-Dade County’s Climate Tech and Economic Innovation Manager, works at the forefront of this effort, collaborating with government leaders, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to fund and develop bold climate solutions. With over a decade of experience in climate policy and a leadership role in the ClimateReady Tech Hub, Dr. Treuer will share insights into how public-private partnerships are unlocking new technology that aims to transform our ability to respond to the climate change in the Gulf region.
