Riding off into a different realm, Dance Alive does contemporary! Tonight’s performance showcases the thrill and excitement of change! With choreography by guest artists, Company members and resident choreographers, the evening include Judy Skinner’s awe-inspiring ELLIS ISLAND, to music by UF distinguished scholar Stella Sung. Choreographers Judy Skinner and Kim Tuttle are also UF Distinguished Scholars
Talk back following performance. “Ancestor Museum” in East Foyer provides opportunity to pin audience member ancestor locations on a world map, explore community ancestor stories and try to work a puzzle used at Ellis Island to learn mental capacity.
