October 28 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

What do deepfakes, cyberattacks, and the global race for AI dominance mean for America’s future? How will these forces shape democracy, foreign policy, and even daily life?

On Tuesday, October 28 at 5 p.m. in the Pugh Hall Ocora, join national security expert and political satirist Hagar Chemali for an in-depth conversation on how AI intersects with U.S. national security, global competition, and the future of democracy. A regular commentator on MSNBC, CNN, BBC, and Bloomberg, Chemali is known for translating complex global issues into clear, engaging insights.

This program gives UF students, faculty, staff, and community members a unique opportunity to hear from one of the nation’s leading voices at the crossroads of technology, policy, and global affairs.
