Join UF Gulf Scholars, Sustainability Studies and the Center for Humanities and the Public Sphere for a film screening of The Cigarette Surfboard. This documentary, directed by Ben Judkins, follows impassioned surfer Taylor Lane as he builds a functional surfboard with 10,000 cigarette butts collected from California beaches. The Cigarette Surfboard highlights how grassroots movements can foster tangible change and protect our oceans!
