Calling all future changemakers! The annual Future of Florida Summit hosted by UF’s Bob Graham Center for Public Service is your chance to impact Florida policy for students by students.
Students of all years and majors at Florida colleges and universities are eligible to apply. No previous policy experience is required.
This year’s topic, Future of the Gulf: Shaping Resilient Solutions for Tomorrow, focuses on the Gulf of Mexico and aims to connect the Gulf region to broader policy issues related to the state of Florida.
Breakout topics will delve into critical issues affecting the Gulf of Mexico, including Environmental Sustainability, Public Health challenges, Economic Development opportunities, and Immigration Impacts.
Throughout the Summit, you will collaborate with students from around the state in small groups to create innovative policy proposals. Competitive applicants display strong collaborative skills, creative thinking, and a passion for change.
The 2025 Summit will take place Feb. 28-Mar. 2, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida. Sixty scholars will be selected to attend. There is no charge to attend: food and hotel accommodations are provided.
