Enjoy a friendly discussion about the museum’s exhibitions with a free Docent-led tour on the third Saturday of every month. Groups of 10 or more may schedule a tour three weeks in advance by contacting tours@harn.ufl.edu.

Explore color, shape, pattern and other “tot interests” during this free program for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers. Enjoy an age-appropriate Docent-led tour then create art in the classrooms.

In collaboration with UF’s Center for Arts, Migration + Entrepreneurship, in conjunction with Afrofuturism Week 2025. The evening will include an all-ages fashion show, musical performance by Shine & The Shakers, lite bites, wine/beer/NA beverages, a mobile library, and art-making activities.

Learn about fiber arts and view spinning, needlepoint, tapestry, weaving, and other needle arts in action. Talk with experienced fiber artists from the Gainesville Handweavers’ Guild.
