Leading with Courage
April 21 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Leading with Courage: What does it mean to have courage in leadership? Every day leaders are faced with situations that demand varying levels of courage to make the right decisions and to act boldly for the greater good. This course explores five choices we can make as leaders that create productive and healthy work environments. Focusing on the competencies of communication and resolve, participants learn how to leverage them when faced with dilemmas in the workplace. True courage and confidence reside in leaders who are willing to do things they are afraid to do. It requires making tough calls, holding difficult conversations, taking risks, and being ready to go beyond your comfort zone. Pre-registration required in myTraining. A link to Zoom will be sent to registered participants.
This is a program of the Managing at UF: The Supervisory Challenge.
