Florida Museum and Alachua County Library District host ‘Lab Girl’ book discussion Oct. 13

The Florida Museum of Natural History and Alachua County Library District will host “NEA Big Read Meetup: Lab Girl” Oct. 13 from 7 to 8 p.m. In this FREE virtual book discussion, library staff and special guest speakers talk about the bestselling book “Lab Girl” by Hope Jahren. The event will take a close look at the experiences of local women in STEM as part of the NEA Big Read, a series of events building community while lifting the voices of women in science.
