On Tuesday, Feb. 11, UF HealthStreet is hosting an Our Community, Our Health (OCOH) national town hall focusing on distracted driving.
Join the discussion on distracted driving with a panel that includes representatives from a range of departments focused on critical transportation issues. The panel will answer questions from audience members who join in person or via livestream. Topics to be discussed include the science related to:
- The connection between distracted driving and traffic safety
- How human behavior and perception contribute to distraction
- The impacts of distraction on traffic patterns and flow
- Legal and ethical factors in traffic safety
