Coaching for Success
March 29 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Coaching is a dynamic, “face-to-face” leadership style! This session will give you practical tips on how to use this style to be a coach and to become a better manager. This interactive session introduces practical ideas and techniques that you can put into practice immediately. During the program, you will review and discuss: The five roles of the coach, when and how to use them; The “two-minute challenge,” a wonderful process to turn around performance; and “The “take 10 check-in,” an easy way to get regular feedback from team members. This is an excellent session for supervisors who want to guide their employees toward accomplishing goals in the work environment. It is a core course in the Supervisory Challenge program. Pre-registration required in myTraining. A link to Zoom will be sent to registered participants.
This is a program of the Managing at UF: The Supervisory Challenge.
