Join us for a May Museum Nights event celebrating art and community. Museum Nights is a place to do your own thing and explore what catches your interest. Check out the happenings:

– Explore newly re-opened galleries including the exhibition “One World: Photographs from a Shared Planet” with commentary from Dr. Carol McCusker, Curator of Photography.
– Meet local artists from the Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) and learn about upcoming artist studio tour opportunities.
– Get creative with a drawing workshop hosted by local artist, Aika Anderson.
– Discover the creative side of Harn Museum volunteers at the Docent Art Show.
– Connect with Seniors on the Move for a timeless dance performance.
– Jump on a tour to learn the collections, including a special Journey to Juneteenth tour to discover remarkable work by Black artists in the collection: “Journey to Today”, presented by Errol Nelson, Student Engagement Manager at the Harn.
– Get creative with hands on art activities.
– Lite bites . . . while they last.

Generous support for Art After Dark is provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program and a private grant.
Museum Nights are also sponsored by UF Student Government and the Office of the Provost.
