This presentation will provide education and prevention strategies that address interpersonal violence including anti-Asian hate. Those who attend will gain knowledge and skills to be an effective reactive and proactive bystander.
Presenter
Megan Johnson, MS, CHES, CWHC – Assistant Director at GatorWell Health Promotion Services at the University of Florida. Megan has worked in the field of health promotion within higher education for 8 years, with the majority of that time focused on violence prevention. She received her Master’s in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida in 2021 and has been a Certified Health Education Specialist since 2021. She also has been a Real Balance Certified Health and Wellness Coach for 2 years.
